About this blog

I am convinced that a blog with rare and profound updates is much more pleasant to follow than Facebook, Twitter and all this “read fast and forget” stuff. A good blog is interesting like a good newspaper, but it’s also valuable for smart discussions in comments. That’s why I am writing it.

I have another blog on Livejournal, which is more than 7 years old. It is almost completely written in Russian and contains many personal topics. In this blog I will write less personally and, beside Russian, also in Finnish and English.

Writing in Finnish is a good language exercise for me (don’t hesitate to point out to some errors). But beside that I just want to provide an outlook to Finland from “outside”. Perhaps somebody will be interested in this. I know that I will acquire more enemies than friends from my writings, but enemies don’t matter and friends really do.
